LETTER FROM OUR CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

2021's SPRING RETURNS, the arrival of this year reminds us of the arrival of spring in countries where we suffer cold dark winters. After those long nights, after those days filled with icy winds, after the gloomy darkness; we wait expectantly for the spring to arrive; when the days get longer, the light reappears, life returns, as the warm air embraces us along with rays of sunshine that announce a new rebirth; we joyfully observe as fresh leaves sprout on the trees and buds blossom into flowers gifting us their colours, their fragrances, their life.

2021 returns, leaving behind a dark night, after a cold winter, after various absences experienced during the year that is about to leave us. Life, illusions and dreams are coming back; dreams that can be made reality are coming back. Once again, we retrieve our suitcases to travel to the places we dreamed of.

Welcome, as always, Welcome, more than ever! The world awaits us; rebirth awaits us. We will once again intensely experience all the beautiful things that life has to offer us. Welcome as always, welcome more than ever! We are all waiting with enthusiasm, after understanding how important it is to live our dreams, the responsibility to show you our beautiful planet and work so that our sector and our company can contribute to creating a more supportive and sustainable world.

In 2020, unfortunately, we had to stop supporting so many projects that we were so excited about helping to make a reality; in 2020, we had to prioritise helping the people associated with Europamundo, who suffered the most due to the economic impact caused as the tourism sector came to a standstill. With the arrival of the vaccines, the borders will gradually open up, like flowers blooming in spring, and as business gets back to normal, we hope to be able to return to supporting our foundation with our usual work gradually.

Now more than ever, and as always, we await you with great excitement… let's travel together, together again, we will feel the intimate happiness that is born when we get to know beautiful places, and the personal satisfaction of being able, together, to build the world we wish for, that satisfaction that is similar to the joy we experience when spring returns and the first flowers bloom and when the warm sun embraces us after the dark winter.
