Welcome to Europamundo! We’ll transfer you to the hotel and you’ll have some free time. In the afternoon, you’ll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.
IMPORTANT: Please note that hotel check-in time is typically at 14:00 p.m. If you need early room access, consider booking an additional night at the start of your trip.
If you have booked additional nights, your room will be prepared upon arrival, but your trip guide will generally only contact you when the scheduled activities begin. At reception, you’ll find a sign with contact details and assistance hours for our staff. Until the tour begins, your schedule is free, and the hotel staff can assist with any inquiries.
Optional activities: During your trip, your guide may offer optional activities. We recommend booking these activities well in advance through the Europamundo app or your "My Trip" link to ensure availability. Last-minute bookings may result in limited availability (e.g., tickets, coach seats).

Barcelona - Girona

09:00 a.m. - After breakfast, we´ll embark on a panoramic tour of Barcelona led by our guide or a local expert. This vibrant city, also known as the "City of Counts," nestled along the Mediterranean Sea, is renowned for Gaudí’s modernist architecture, the bustling Ramblas, and its rich history, marked by the Universal Exposition and the Olympics hosted here. Barcelona is renowned as one of the most beautiful and fascinating European capitals. We’ll see the Columbus Monument, Plaza de Cataluña, Paseo de Gracia, Diagonal, Sagrada Familia, Montjuïc with its Olympic facilities, and Plaza de España. We’ll make a stop in Sagrada Familia to admire the exterior of the monument. The tour will end in La Rambla, where you can stroll through the historic Gothic Quarter. After the city tour, our guide will offer an optional visit to Gaudí’s masterpiece and symbol of the city: Sagrada Familia. The afternoon will be free for you to explore at your leisure.
06:00 p.m. – We’ll depart from Barcelona, heading towards the north of Catalonia.
07:30 p.m. - Girona – We’ll arrive in this picturesque Catalan city, known for its beautiful historic center and the impressive cathedral with its grand staircase. The city is charmingly lit up in the evening and offers many small restaurants.
Note: If our hotel is not located near the city center, you´ll have free time to explore Girona until 9:15 p.m. before heading to the hotel.
Girona - Arles - Carrières des Lumières - Chambery
Total distance covered: 650 km.
Scenery: Pleasant green and Mediterranean landscapes.
08:00 a.m. – Departure from Girona. We’ll cross into France and journey through the Provence region.
12:00 p.m. - Arles - Arrival in this charming city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, we´ll visit the Roman amphitheater, the best-preserved in France, and explore quaint Provençal Romanesque churches. We´ll also reflect on Van Gogh, the Dutch painter who brilliantly captured the unique light of southern France during his most creative period. You´ll have time to stroll around and enjoy lunch.
02:30 p.m. – Departure from Arles through the gentle landscapes of Provence.
03:15 p.m. - Carrières des Lumières (Light Quarries) - Near Arles, we´ll experience an immersive show featuring the works of iconic painters, brought to life through projections of images and sound in these ancient quarries, over 20 million years old. Admission included.
04:30 p.m. – Departure from Carrières des Lumières. We’ll continue our journey towards Chambery.
08:30 p.m. - Chambery - Arrival and check-in at the hotel.
Note: If tickets for the Carrières des Lumières show are unavailable due to high demand, we will provide an alternative visit to the Pont du Gard, a famous Roman aqueduct.
Chambery - Geneva - Gruyères - Chillon - Leysin

Scenery: Enjoy stunning views of Lake Geneva, with expansive lakes and snow-capped peaks in the distance. In the afternoon, we’ll travel through the mountains, passing charming villages with traditional wooden houses.
Note: Please bring your passport, as we will be entering Switzerland, and there may be border controls requiring documentation.
08:00 a.m. - Chambery - We’ll start our day with a stroll through this delightful capital of Savoy, a medieval city with a beautiful historic center and a grand castle.
09:00 a.m. – Departure from Chambery. We’ll head to Switzerland.
10:30 a.m. - Geneva. As the capital of the French-speaking region of Switzerland, Geneva is situated beside a lake and hosts the European United Nations headquarters, the International Labour Organization, the Red Cross, and numerous other international organizations. With our guide, we´ll see the Palace of Nations, the lovely English Garden with its flower clock, and admire the Jet d’Eau, the tallest fountain in Europe.
12:00 p.m. - Geneva – We´ll continue along Lake Geneva, passing through stunning vineyard landscapes in an area recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
01:30 p.m. - Gruyères - Famous for its cheese, Gruyères is a picturesque walled village. We´ll have time for lunch here. Nearby, there are some of Switzerland´s major chocolate factories, including Nestlé. Our tour includes admission to the Maison Cailler Chocolate Factory, where you’ll enjoy a sweet tasting experience!
04:00 p.m. – Departure from Gruyères traveling through the mountains and picturesque Swiss villages.
04:45 p.m. - Chillon Castle - Arrival at this impressive medieval castle set on the lake´s waters. Admission included.
05:45 p.m. – Departure from Chillon Castle. We’ll enjoy breathtaking mountain scenery, passing through villages with charming wooden architecture.
06:30 p.m. - Leysin - Arrival in this beautiful holiday village offering stunning views of the Rhône Valley and Mont Blanc. Leysin is known for its winter sports and hiking options. Dinner will be included.
Note: Depending on availability, accommodation may sometimes be in another charming Swiss town nestled in the Alps, such as Martigny.
Leysin - Glacier 3000 - Interlaken - Lucerne - Zurich
Total distance covered: 230 km.
Scenery: This part of our journey offers some of the most spectacular scenery in the Alps, featuring high peaks that remain snow-covered year-round and beautiful lakes.
Recommendation: Bring warm clothes and comfortable shoes, as we will be heading up to high mountains where you´ll have the opportunity to explore the area. It´s also a good idea to bring a raincoat. Additionally, if the day is sunny, remember to use sunscreen while enjoying the mountain views.
Note: Occasionally, due to weather conditions such as rain or strong winds, the cable car to Glacier 3000 may not operate. The ascent is not permitted for children under 2 years old.
08:30 a.m. – Departure from Leysin. We´ll be surrounded by stunning high mountain landscapes, with snow and ice visible throughout most of the year.
09:00 a.m. - We´ll take the cable car up to the Glacier 3000, one of the most spectacular spots in Switzerland. From its terraces, you´ll enjoy panoramic views of the alpine landscapes. You can also walk across the suspended bridge connecting two mountain peaks, explore the Ice Cathedral, or enjoy activities in the Fun Park.
11:30 a.m. - Departure for Interlaken, passing through scenic mountain and lake landscapes.
01:30 p.m. - Interlaken. This charming town is nestled between two lakes and is surrounded by impressive mountain scenery. We’ll have time for lunch here.
03:00 p.m. – Departure from Interlaken.
04:15 p.m. - Lucerne. Known as one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland, Lucerne features picturesque wooden bridges crossing the lake. Enjoy some time to stroll and take in the sights.
06:00 p.m. – Departure from Lucerne.
07:00 p.m. - Zurich. We´ll take a leisurely stroll in the largest city in Switzerland and its economic center before heading to our hotel.
Zurich - Lugano - Como - Milan
Total distance covered: 290 km.
Scenery: Spectacular alpine landscapes, mountains and lakes. Be sure to bring your camera!
Note: Please keep your passport handy, as it may be required when crossing into Italy.
08:00 a.m. – Departure from Zurich - We´ll leave early in the morning, crossing the Alps to reach the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland.
11:00 a.m. - Lugano - Arrival in the regional capital, an elegant city nestled among mountains and located beside a large lake. Take some time to explore this city known for its parks and flowers, charming villas, scenic viewpoints, and lovely lakeside walks. You´ll also have time for lunch.
01:30 p.m. – Departure from Lugano. We’ll continue our journey through this scenic region of lakes and mountains, and cross into Italy.
02:30 p.m. - Como - Arrival in this city, considered a jewel of Lombardy, known for its beautiful lakeside gardens promenade and stunning cathedral. Enjoy some time to stroll around and take in the sights.
04:00 p.m. – Departure from Como.
05:00 p.m. - Milan - Our guide will lead us to the impressive Piazza del Duomo, where you’ll have some time for a walk. Transfer to the hotel will be at 8:00 p.m.
Note: Due to ongoing roadwork and the temporary restriction on heavy vehicle traffic, we will be stopping in Como instead of Morcote for the time being.
Milan - Pisa - Rome
Total distance covered: 640 km.
Scenery: We´ll enjoy breathtaking Mediterranean views, with stunning seascapes and delightful scenery throughout the journey.
08:30 a.m. – We’ll depart from Milan, the financial heart of Italy, and head towards Pisa.
12:00 p.m. - Pisa - Upon arrival, we’ll take a charming little tourist train to the Piazza Dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles). Here, you’ll have time to admire one of Italy´s most captivating art complexes, including the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa.
03:00 p.m. – We’ll leave Pisa and continue our journey towards Rome.
08:30 p.m. - Rome.
Note: The schedule for this stage may vary, with possible later arrivals in Pisa and Rome to accommodate travelers joining us from Nice.
Rome
08:30 a.m. - This morning, we’ll begin our city tour, offering a perfect introduction to the Eternal City. We’ll visit the small but significant Vatican City, a major center of Christianity worldwide. You’ll have the chance to explore St. Peter’s Basilica. Our tour will continue to the Imperial Forums (tickets included), a remarkable collection of buildings and monumental squares that were once the hub of political activity.
06:30 p.m. - In the evening, we’ll head to the Trastevere area. As we stroll through the narrow, cobbled streets of Trastevere, we’ll discover hidden gems like quaint medieval churches, unique shops, and vibrant local scenes. Many trattorias and osterias, brimming with Italian charm, are ready to serve you local dishes. You’ll also find restaurants offering Indian, Chinese, and other international cuisines in this lively area.
08:30 p.m. – Return to the hotel.
Rome - Florence
Total distance covered: 320 km.
Scenery: Apennine Mountains and Tuscan vineyards.
Note: We recommend wearing comfortable shoes as the Florence tour involves walking.
08:00 a.m. - Depart from Rome, traveling through the Tiber Valley.
12:15 p.m. - Arrival in Florence, with our first stop at Piazzale Michelangelo, a viewpoint with spectacular city views. Don’t forget your camera! We’ll then take a two-and-a-half-hour walking tour with a local guide, visiting the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, Straw Market, Piazza della Repubblica, and Palazzo Vecchio. The afternoon is free for you to explore the city’s historic markets and museums.
Florence offers a wide range of restaurants serving both local and international cuisine for dinner. After enjoying your meal, we’ll return to the hotel.
Florence - Venice
Total distance covered: 310 km.
Scenery: We’ll cross the Apennines and the Po Valley.
08:15 a.m. - Departure from Florence, enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery along the way.
12:00 p.m. – Arrival in Venice at Tronchetto terminal. From there, we´ll take a boat across the Giudecca Canal to the island. Enjoy a guided tour around St. Mark’s Square. We´ll also visit the Murano Glass Factory to see a demonstration of traditional glassmaking techniques. The afternoon will be free for you to explore at your leisure.
07:30 p.m. - Return to the mainland and transfer to the hotel. We’ll be staying in the Mestre district.
Venice - Innsbruck - Kitzbühel
Total distance covered: 480 km.
08:00 a.m. - Departure from Venice, crossing the Po Valley and traveling to Austria.
01:00 p.m. - Innsbruck. Arrival in the capital of the Austrian Tyrol, with time to stroll through its historic center and have lunch.
03:30 p.m. - Departure from Innsbruck after lunch. We’ll travel along a scenic road through the mountains.
05:00 p.m. - Kitzbühel. Take some time to explore this picturesque village, a famous ski resort where snow can be enjoyed for most of the year. We’ll provide a transfer to the hotel, with dinner included.
Note: If there are few travelers, we may take a train from Venice to Innsbruck.
Kitzbühel - Salzburg - St. Wolfgang - Traunsee Lake - Vienna
Total distance covered: 420 km.
Scenery: Fantastic scenery of the Alps with breathtaking views of mountains, lakes, and forests. The journey includes a thrilling cable car ride and a lake cruise.
Note: We recommend wearing comfortable shoes for the mountains and warm clothing to enjoy the views from the deck during the boat ride. Winter schedules may be adjusted to maximize daylight.
08:00 a.m. - Departure from Kitzbühel. We’ll take the Steinplatte cable car ride up to the high mountains surrounding the alpine region with snow for nine months of the year, offering fantastic scenery. The incredible landscapes from the viewing platform and the dinosaur exhibition will create unforgettable memories.
10:00 a.m. - Departure from Steinplatte. We’ll continue exploring Austria through the mountains.
11:00 a.m. - Salzburg. We’ll arrive in the city of Mozart, nestled beneath the mighty castle and declared a World Heritage Site. Our guide will provide orientation, after which you´ll have free time to stroll and have lunch in the beautiful Renaissance and Baroque streets of the historic center.
01:30 p.m. - Departure from Salzburg. We’ll continue our journey along small roads, traveling through a scenic route in the Alps, passing by beautiful lakes and mountains.
02:30 p.m. - St. Wolfgang, a famous lakeside pilgrimage site in Austria.
03:15 p.m. - Departure from St. Wolfgang.
03:30 p.m. - Traunkirchen. Enjoy time to stroll through this charming town with its lovely churches and streets along the beautiful Traunsee Lake. Around 4:30 p.m., we’ll embark on a cruise through the mountains, where we´ll have the opportunity to see up to four castles along the lake.
05:30 p.m. – Gmunden. We’ll disembark and continue to the capital of Austria.
08:45 p.m. - Vienna.
Note: During the winter months, due to weather conditions and shorter days, the stop at St. Wolfgang may be canceled.
Vienna
09:00 a.m. - We´ll start with a panoramic tour of Vienna, lasting about two and a half hours, with a local guide. During the tour, we´ll see the Ringstrasse, the main boulevard of Vienna, the Opera, the exterior of the Hofburg Palace, Prater Park, the Belvedere, and Schönbrunn Palace.
07:00 p.m. - In the evening, we’ll include a transfer to the Grinzing district, an old wine-growing village now part of the city, known for its traditional taverns. Enjoy free time to dine in the area.
09:30 p.m. - Return to the hotel.
Vienna - Budapest
Total distance covered: 245 km.
Scenery: We’ll travel through the beautiful Pannonian Basin to the Hungarian capital.
Note: The currency of Hungary is the Forint. It is advisable to pay in local currency during your stay. If the group is very small, we may take the train.
08:30 a.m. - Departure from Vienna, following the course of the Danube to Hungary. The trip to the capital will take just under three hours.
11:30 a.m. - Budapest. We’ll first visit Váci utca, one of the main pedestrian areas and probably the most famous and lively commercial street in the center of Budapest. Free time.
02:30 p.m. - After lunch, we’ll kick off our exploration of Budapest with a boat trip on the Danube River. The views of the city and its parliament from the river are breathtaking. Afterwards, we’ll embark on a three-hour guided tour of the "Queen of the Danube," where we’ll see the many bridges over the Danube, the district of Pest with its bustling commercial activity, Buda’s Old Town, and the Fisherman´s Bastion. After the tour, you’ll have free time to continue exploring the city before we return to the hotel.
In the evening, we’ll offer an optional outing to a Magyar show, with dinner included.
Budapest - Bratislava - Prague

08:00 a.m. - Departure from Budapest.
10:30 a.m. - Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, located along the Danube with a charming historic center. You´ll have time to explore the city and enjoy lunch.
01:30 p.m. - Departure from Bratislava as we continue our journey to the Czech Republic.
06:30 p.m. - Prague. Arrival in the beautiful Czech capital. We’ll provide a transfer to the Old Town Square, a lively area brimming with energy and tourist activities. It´s a fantastic place to get familiar with Prague. You´ll find numerous restaurants offering a variety of cuisines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian. Return to the hotel.
Prague
07:45 a.m. – The three-and-a-half-hour tour of the city with a local guide begins. On foot, we’ll explore the Castle District, the oldest part of Prague, featuring the citadel with its churches and palaces. From here, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the “City of 100 Spires.” We’ll continue our walk to the Lesser Town, the city’s Baroque jewel known as Malá Strana, crossing the Vltava River on the famous Charles Bridge, an architectural and sculptural masterpiece. We’ll admire the beautiful cityscape and enter the Old Town of Prague with its renowned Old Town Square, one of the most beautiful in central Europe, featuring the Church of Our Lady before Týn and the famous Town Hall with its astronomical clock and chimes. The tour will include admission to Prague Castle, built in the 9th century and the former residence of the kings of Bohemia.
After the city tour, you’ll enjoy a cruise along the Vltava River. The afternoon is free for you to continue exploring the city.
In the evening, you’ll have some time to spend in the historic city center, where you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy cuisines from around the world. Afterwards, we´ll return to the hotel.
Prague - Pilsen- Rothenburg - Frankfurt

Scenery: Forests and hills in Czech Republic, pleasant landscapes in Germany.
07:30 a.m. - Departure from Prague.
09:00 a.m. - Pilsen. Time to visit this city in western Bohemia, renowned for its beers. Enjoy a walk through its historic center, where you’ll find its breweries, the Great Square, the cathedral, the Plague Column, and a Renaissance-era town hall.
10:00 a.m. - Departure from Pilsen. We’ll travel to Germany to explore one of the stops on the famous Romantic Road.
01:30 p.m. - Rothenburg. This fairytale-like city is considered one of the most beautiful towns in the country. Enjoy a stroll through its medieval old town and have lunch.
03:30 p.m. - Departure from Rothenburg.
06:00 p.m. - Frankfurt. We’ll cross the wide, modern avenues that showcase the financial district. Later, you’ll have free time in the historic city center, where you’ll find a wide variety of restaurants offering Indian, Asian, Italian, and international cuisines. Transfer to the hotel.
Frankfurt - Cruise on the Rhine - Cologne - Amsterdam
Total distance covered: 480 km by road and 30 km by boat.
Scenery: Rhine Valley.
Note: Bring some warm clothing to enjoy the deck on the boat!

09:15 a.m. - Rüdesheim. Enjoy a stroll through this picturesque village near the Rhine, known for its taverns. We’ll embark on a cruise lasting about an hour and forty-five minutes, exploring the most beautiful area of the Rhine Valley, with medieval villages, castles, vineyards, hills, and small churches. The cruise is expected to depart at 10:15 a.m. (schedule may vary).
11:55 a.m. – We’ll disembark in St. Goar and continue our route.
02:00 p.m. - Cologne. Enjoy free time for lunch and a stroll through the city center, featuring its impressive Gothic cathedral and elegant bridges over the Rhine.
04:30 p.m. - Departure from Cologne for Amsterdam, traveling through vast plains and crossing into Holand.
08:15 p.m. - Amsterdam.
Amsterdam - Zaanse Schans - Volendam - Marken - Amsterdam
Total distance covered: 75 km.
Scenery: Beautiful Dutch landscapes with small houses, canals, and mills.

08:45 a.m. - Zaanse Schans. This open-air park features iconic traditional windmills typical of the Dutch landscape, along with charming little houses, canals, and bridges that showcase life in the 18th century. Take some time to photograph the mills and houses.
09:45 a.m. - Departure from Zaanse Schans.
10:15 a.m. - Volendam, a picturesque fishing village. Enjoy some time to walk around and explore.
11:15 a.m. - Departure from Volendam. We’ll take a short boat trip to Marken.
12:00 p.m. - Arrival in Marken, an island connected to the mainland by a fixed dike, where houses are built on stilts. Enjoy a stroll through the island.
12:45 p.m. - Departure from Marken.
01:30 p.m. - Amsterdam. Enjoy lunch in the city center before starting the two-hour tour with a local guide. We’ll start the tour with a stop in front of the Rembrandt Statue and Amsterdam Mill, one of the most iconic mills in Holland. Next, we’ll pass through the RAI Convention Center, crossing the southern part of the city, the most exclusive area of Amsterdam. We’ll then stop at the Museum Square to learn about diamond cutting techniques at the Diamond Museum. Afterwards, we’ll head to the Amstel River, entering the former Jewish Quarter with its Holocaust Memorial and the Portuguese Synagogue. We’ll pass by the old harbor and the Maritime Museum. Our tour will conclude at the Central Station, where we’ll leave the bus and walk to the Church of St. Nicholas, the heart of the city. You’ll then have free time to explore at your leisure.
In the evening, we’ll provide a transfer to Rembrandtplein, an area with numerous international restaurants, located near the Red Light District, celebrated for its progressive values.
Amsterdam - Bruges - Paris
Total distance covered: 550 km.
Scenery: Sweeping agricultural landscapes and several highly populated cities along the route.
08:30 a.m. - Departure from Amsterdam to Belgium.
11:45 a.m. - Arrival in Bruges, a charming medieval city often referred to as the "Venice of the North" because of its picturesque canals. The city has a magical atmosphere with its cobblestone streets, historic buildings, and romantic bridges. If you’d like, you can climb the Belfry Tower for stunning views. How about trying some Belgian chocolate? Or perhaps you´d prefer a local craft beer?
04:00 p.m. - Departure from Bruges, continuing on to France.
08:15 p.m. - Paris.
Paris
Total distance covered: 80 km.
07:45 a.m. - Departure from Paris.
08:30 a.m. - Versailles. Arrival to the Palace of Versailles (tickets not included; please note that there may be long lines to enter due to the large number of visitors). This grand palace, once the residence of French kings, offers a fascinating glimpse into the culture and history of France.
11:30 a.m. - Departure from Versailles. Departure time may vary if there are delays entering the palace. Upon returning to Paris, we’ll head to Montmartre. We’ll take a cable car (included) up to this bohemian artists’ district, where we can admire the Sacré Coeur Basilica and wander through its picturesque square and winding alleys.
03:00 p.m. - We’ll start a two-and-a-half-hour panoramic tour of Paris with a local guide. This tour will take us to iconic landmarks like the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées, La Madeleine, Place de la Concorde, the Opera, the Louvre, the Tour Saint-Jacques, the City Hall, Île de la Cité with Notre-Dame, the Latin Quarter, the Pantheon, the Sorbonne, the Luxembourg Garden, Les Invalides, the École militaire, Champ de Mars, the Eiffel Tower and the banks of the Seine. We’ll have brief stops near Les Invalides and Champ de Mars. After the tour, we’ll return to the hotel, with an optional stop in the city center for those who want to enjoy more free time in Paris.
At the end of this enriching day, the guide will suggest an optional evening outing to a cabaret or variety show, such as the Moulin Rouge or Paradis Latin.

Paris
08:30 a.m. - Departure from the hotel. We’ll head to the Eiffel Tower, where tickets to the second floor are included (please note that there may be long waits due to the high number of visitors). The second floor offers the best views, providing an optimal altitude for seeing the city below (which is less visible from the third floor) and offers a better overall perspective compared to the first floor. From this vantage point, you can see up to 70 km on a clear day. After descending the tower, we’ll enjoy a scenic boat trip along the Seine River, offering stunning views of Paris´ iconic monuments and bridges. This journey lasts approximately an hour and fifteen minutes. Afterward, you’ll have some free time.
Note: If wait times at the Eiffel Tower are too long, we might reschedule the visit to a different time (or on Sunday) for your convenience.
