Tangier - Asilah - Rabat
Total distance covered: 240 km.
Scenery: Moroccan Atlantic coast.
We´ll start our day with some free time in Tangier in the morning. Afterwards, we´ll journey south to Asilah, a charming walled city perched by the sea. Once a notorious pirate stronghold, Asilah now captivates visitors with its picturesque setting. You´ll have the opportunity to enjoy lunch here (your guide will provide details on timing).
4:30 p.m. - Departure from Asilah. We´ll continue our journey along the motorway towards Rabat, the diplomatic capital of Morocco, renowned for its unique charm.
7:30 p.m. - Rabat. Dinner and accommodation will await.
Rabat - Casablanca - El Jadida - Safi
Total distance covered: 335 km.
Scenery: Atlantic coast of Morocco, transitioning from agricultural fields to increasingly dry landscapes as we approach Safi.
08:00 a.m. - We’ll start our tour of the capital of the Kingdom, one of the most stunning cities in the country. Highlights include the impressive Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan Tower where the Mausoleum of Mohammed V is located, the Andalusian walls, the outer enclosure of the Royal Palace, and the modern embassy quarters. After our tour, free time.
12:00 p.m. - Departure from Rabat.
01:15 p.m. - Casablanca. We’ll go on a brief city tour with a local guide to discover this vibrant, modern city where you’ll get to see the exterior of the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, the second-largest mosque in the Muslim world (after Mecca). We’ll also make a short stop at La Corniche for lunch.
02:30 p.m. - After lunch, we’ll continue our journey south along the Atlantic coast.
04:00 p.m. – Arrival in El Jadida, a historic port town. Its citadel (Mazagan) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by the Portuguese in the early 1500s, it was once the most important commercial and maritime hub on the African coast. The town’s fortified walls overlooking the ocean made it nearly impenetrable, and its charming streets still bear the marks of its Portuguese past, including the Manueline-style Church of the Assumption. We’ll take a stroll through the town and visit the old sixteenth-century cistern (admission included).
06:00 p.m. - Departure from El Jadida.
08:00 p.m. - Safi. Time to settle into your accommodation. Dinner will be included.
Note: The old cistern in El Jadida is currently closed for restoration but is expected to reopen later this season.
Safi – Essaouira – Taghazout - Agadir
Total distance covered: 305 km.
Scenery: Stunning ocean views in some areas.
Note: If you wish to relax on the beach in Essaouira, please bring your essentials with you.
08:30 a.m. - Morning visit to Safi with our guide. This city is renowned for its ceramic production, highly demanded throughout Morocco for its quality and bright colors. We’ll photograph the Castle of the Sea and its impressive fortress walls, stroll through the charming Medina, and visit the Hill of the Potters with its many shops.
10:00 a.m. - Departure from Safi.
12:00 p.m. – Essaouira - a historic city with spectacular beaches, known as the Blue Pearl of the Atlantic. Its walled Medina, facing the sea, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This beautifully preserved city is a favorite among artists and painters. You’ll have free time for lunch and to wander through its narrow streets, whitewashed houses, and strong walls struck by the waves.
03:00 p.m. - Departure from Essaouira, continuing along the Atlantic coast with magnificent landscapes along the way.
06:00 p.m. – Taghazout. Brief stop in this picturesque small town known for fishing and surf tourism.
07:00 p.m. - Departure from Taghazout.
07:30 p.m. – Arrival in Agadir, an Atlantic city where the Atlas Mountains meet the sea. Dinner will be included.

You’ll have a free morning to enjoy the country’s top beach destination. Relax on its infinite beaches, take a scenic walk along the seafront, or shop in one of the many retail areas.
