Welcome to Mexico! Upon arrival at the Chihuahua airport, our transfer representative will be waiting to take you to your hotel.
After check-in, our guide will meet you in the hotel lobby for a city tour, during which you’ll visit the Pancho Villa Museum, the Cathedral, Quinta Gameros Museum, the Government Palace, and historic residential neighborhoods.
Chihuahua - Creel
Total distance covered: 260 km.
Scenery: We will travel through the Sierra Tarahumara, a mountainous region covered in pine forests, deep valleys, and small rural communities. Along the way, we will pass through Mennonite farmlands, known for their traditional and hardworking way of life.
08:00 a.m. – Departure from Chihuahua
We will leave the state capital behind as we head into the majestic landscapes of northern Mexico, bound for the heart of the Sierra Madre Occidental. During the route, we’ll pass through agricultural areas and Mennonite communities that maintain a distinctive and austere lifestyle.
1:00 p.m. – Arrival in Creel
Located at over 2,300 meters (7,500 feet) above sea level, this Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town) is considered the gateway to the stunning Copper Canyon. With its cool mountain air, lively streets, and natural surroundings, Creel is one of the most charming destinations in the region.
After lunch (not included), we´ll take a tour of the area, discovering some of the most emblematic sites of Rarámuri culture and the local geography. We will visit Lake Arareko, a beautiful mirror-like body of water surrounded by conifer trees; the historic San Ignacio Mission, nestled in the forest; caves still inhabited by Tarahumara families who preserve their ancestral way of life; and the curious rock formations in the Valley of the Mushrooms and Frogs—natural sculptures shaped over time by wind and rain.
Creel - Divisadero
Total distance covered: 130 km.
Scenery: Today´s journey will take us through the breathtaking landscapes of the Sierra Tarahumara—deep canyons, dramatic rock formations, and forests of pine and oak. We’ll get closer to the awe-inspiring Copper Canyon region, one of Mexico’s most remarkable natural wonders.
9:00 a.m. – Departure from Creel.
We’ll take the road toward the Copper Canyon Adventure Park. Along the way, we’ll enjoy unforgettable views of the mountainous terrain and vast wilderness of the Sierra Madre Occidental.
10:30 a.m. – Arrival at Piedra Volada Adventure ParkWe will visit several key points in the area: a stunning natural viewpoint, a hang-ing bridge offering a thrilling look into the canyon depths below, and several other scenic overlooks. The park also offers a range of optional activities such as a cable car ride, zipline, ZipRider, guided hikes led by Rarámuri locals, ATV or bike rentals. These activities are not included and may be purchased directly at the ticket office.
1:30 p.m. – Lunch included. Time to enjoy the local cuisine while taking in the majestic views of the canyon.
4:00 p.m. – Guided Nature WalkWe’ll go on a guided walk through the surrounding landscape to admire new perspectives of the canyon and visit a Tarahumara cave dwelling, where we’ll learn more about this Indigenous community that has adapted to the extreme conditions of the Sierra.
7:00 p.m. – Transfer to the Hotel.
Overnight stay and dinner included in this exceptional setting, right in front of one of the largest canyon systems in the Americas.
Divisadero - Chepe Express - Los Mochis
Total distance covered: 350 km (by train)
Scenery: We will travel aboard the legendary Chepe Express, crossing one of the most spectacular railway routes in the world. Towering mountains, rushing rivers, deep can-yons, and endless gorges will unfold before our eyes, offering an unforgettable visual experience through the heart of the Sierra Tarahumara.
9:30 a.m. – Divisadero
After breakfast, we will head to the station to board the iconic Chepe Express (tourist class). This train, considered a jewel of railway tourism, will take us along a monumental feat of engineering: we will pass through 86 tunnels and over 37 bridges, winding through rugged terrain and revealing breathtaking views of the Copper Canyon.During the journey, we’ll cross the highest bridge on the route and pass through El Descanso Tunnel, the longest on the line. This is an unparalleled opportunity to take stunning photos and enjoy a comfortable, thrilling ride through the mountains.
4:40 p.m. – Arrival in Los Mochis
Our local staff will be waiting for you at the station with a sign bearing your name to assist with your included transfer to the hotel.You’ll have free time in this city in the state of Sinaloa, founded in 1893 by American engineer Albert K. Owen as part of an ambitious utopian project known as The Topolo-bampo Colony. Today,
Los Mochis is a key agricultural and industrial mecca, driven by the cultivation of sugarcane—a vital part of its economic development.
Los Mochis - Guadalajara
Leisure time in Los Mochis until your scheduled transfer to the airport. A flight to Guadalajara is included, followed by private transfer to your hotel. Upon arrival, you will have free time to explore the city at your own pace. You´ll be in the capital of Jalisco—a distinguished colonial city renowned as the birthplace of mariachi music and tequila.
Guadalajara- Tequila- Guadalajara.-
Total distance covered: 140 km.
Scenery: We’ll journey through the fertile valleys of the state of Jalisco, with sweeping views of the blue agave fields—recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for their cultural significance in tequila production.
09:00 a.m. – In the morning, we’ll take a panoramic tour of Guadalajara, a city that blends modernity with deep-rooted traditions. We’ll explore its elegant historic center and admire landmarks such as the Metropolitan Cathedral, Plaza Tapatía, the traditional San Juan de Dios Market, and the impressive Hospicio Cabañas (admission included), a UNESCO World Heritage Site housing murals by José Clemente Orozco.
12:00 p.m. – Departure from Guadalajara. We’ll travel by road toward the picturesque town of Tequila, birthplace of one of Mexico’s most iconic beverages.
02:00 p.m. – Tequila. Arrival in this colorful town that preserves its traditional charm with cobbled streets, vibrant facades, and surrounding agave plantations. We’ll visit the renowned Mundo Cuervo distillery, where we’ll learn about the artisanal process of tequila production (admission and tasting included). After the visit, you’ll have time to explore the town, browse its local shops, and enjoy lunch at one of its traditional restaurants.
Note: Upon arrival in Tequila, the bus cannot enter the historic center; a walk of approximately 20 minutes will be required.
05:30 p.m. – Departure from Tequila. We’ll begin our return journey to the Jalisco capital, once again enjoying the scenic agave landscape.
07:00 p.m. – Guadalajara. Arrival with free time to continue exploring the city, do some shopping, or enjoy its lively nightlife.
Note: During high season, the distillery visit may be scheduled in the morning, in which case the order of visits will be adjusted without altering the planned content.

13:00 h.- GUANAJUATO – Arrival-.
Important Note: It is forbidden by law the entry of tourist buses into the historic centre.
On arrival, walk down to the Pípila viewpoint, time for photos. Afterwards, we will take the cable car ride to the centre. Free time to have lunch. After lunch, we will visit this beautiful university city declared World Heritage Site, its steep slopes, its narrow streets, its temples. We included a visit to this beautiful university city and World Heritage Site, with its narrow, steep streets and churches. Followed by free time. Visitors who are interested can visit the impressive “Mummies´ Museum”.
17.30/18.00 hrs: Transfer by sprinter vehicle to the hotel.
Guanajuato – Dolores Hidalgo – Atotonilco – San Miguel de Allende – Queretaro
Total distance covered: 170 km.
Scenery: Beautiful mountain landscapes along the route between Guanajuato and Dolores Hidalgo.
08:30 a.m. - Departure from Guanajuato. We’ll enjoy stunning mountainous landscapes along the way.
10:00 a.m. - Dolores Hidalgo. Known as the birthplace of Mexican independence, here you’ll have the opportunity to visit the church where Father Hidalgo issued the famous call for independence.
Important note: The city regulations prohibit tourist buses from entering the historic center.
11:30 a.m. - Departure from Dolores Hidalgo. En route, we’ll visit the Sanctuary of Atotonilco, also known as the "Sanctuary of God and the Nation," a UNESCO World Heritage Site. (Please note: On some occasions, access to the interior may not be possible due to religious retreats.)
01:30 p.m. - San Miguel de Allende. A beautiful city with colonial architecture and cobblestone streets, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll have time to stroll and explore its charming atmosphere.
Important note: The city regulations prohibit tourist buses from entering the historic center. In this case, the alternatives are a 15-minute walk or using a public transportation minibus. Please note that the quality of this public transport may be lower than desired.
05:00 p.m. - Departure from San Miguel de Allende.
06:30 p.m. - Queretaro. Arrival in this beautiful city, famous for its stunning colonial center, its lively Plaza de Armas, and its vibrant pedestrian streets and restaurants.
Querétaro - Atongo - Querétaro
Total distance covered: 80 km.
Scenery: We will enjoy gentle hills, agricultural fields and rural roads that evoke the viceregal past of central Mexico, framing the historical environment of old haciendas.
Free morning in Queretaro.
03:30 p.m. (Approx.) Querétaro – Departure. We will head towards one of the historical jewels of the region: Hacienda Atongo, located about 40 km away. The road will take us through agricultural landscapes and small towns in the Querétaro highlands.
04:30 p.m. Hacienda Atongo – Arrival. This 17th century hacienda welcomes us with its period atmosphere. We will carry out a theatrical visit included, in which actors dressed as historical figures will guide us through the old town, the gardens and the vineyard. It will be a tour full of history and emotions, ideal for transporting yourself to the past and understanding the rural and stately life of yesteryear. At the end, we will enjoy a refreshing drink made with the estate´s wine, closing the experience with local flavor.
Return to the city of Querétaro. Free night to continue enjoying the city’s vibrant cultural and gastronomic offer.
Querétaro - Tequisquiapan - Bernal - Querétaro
Total distance covered: 160 km.
Scenery: We will travel through the heart of the Querétaro highlands, between crop fields, golden hills, emerging vineyards and towns that seem frozen in time, under the imposing gaze of the Peña de Bernal monolith.
8:30 a.m. (Approx.) Querétaro – After breakfast, a local tourist company will pick us up at the hotel to take the “Magic, Wine and Cheese” excursion.
10:00 a.m. San Sebastian de Bernal. Arrival in this charming “Pueblo Mágico” (Magical Town), known for its peaceful and traditional atmosphere. We will walk through its alleys filled with textile crafts, under the shadow of the majestic monolith of Peña de Bernal, the third largest in the world. Time to take photographs and enjoy this place full of spirituality and culture.
12:30 p.m. Tequisquiapan – Arrival. This colonial town is famous for its mineral waters, its relaxed atmosphere and its alleys with viceregal architecture. We will take a guided tour (Included) to learn about the history of the place, with time to visit its artisan market and admire its typical hand-woven baskets. We will enjoy a gastronomic experience (Included) in the San Patricio Winery and the Bocanegra cheese cellar, learning about the cheese making process and the challenges of viticulture at altitude. We’ll culminate the visit with a regional cheese and wine, tasting, a delight for the senses.
Return to the city of Queretaro at the end of the afternoon.
Querétaro - Mexico City
Total distance covered: 200 km.
Scenery: We’ll travel through the central highlands of Mexico, among semi-arid landscapes, agave fields, gentle hills and sporadic views of distant mountain ranges, gradually approaching the vast valley where the capital sits.
Querétaro – At the time appointed by the guide, we will begin the route to Mexico City by regular line bus. The ride, which takes approximately three hours, will allow you to observe the transition from the rural environment to the great Mexican metropolis.
Mexico City – Upon arrival, our assistant will be waiting to accompany you to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day free to rest or explore at your leisure. The city offers an infinite number of proposals: museums, parks, archaeological sites, traditional markets and world-renowned cuisine.
Note: The ride by regular line bus will be made without an accompanying Europamundo guide.
Mexico City - Teotihuacan - Mexico City
Total distance covered: 90 km.
Scenery: We will travel through the central highlands of Mexico, between urban areas and semi-arid fields, until we reach the imposing plain where the pyramids of Teotihuacán stand, framed by hills and maguey vegetation.
08.45 a.m. Mexico City – Departure after breakfast. We will begin our tour with a brief stop at the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, where pre-Hispanic vestiges, colonial architecture and modern elements converge. We will continue towards the northeast until we reach one of the most emblematic archaeological sites in the country.
10:30 a. m. Teotihuacan (entrance included) – Arrival. We will explore the ancient sacred city, declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site. We will visit the majestic Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the temple of Quetzalpapálotl, the citadel and the Avenue of the Dead. We will also visit a craft center where we will learn about ancient techniques for making obsidian and other typical materials.
Teotihuacan – Departure, back to the capital. Before returning to Mexico City, we will make a special visit to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of America and main pilgrimage center on the continent, where we will contemplate its modern architecture and the original cloak of Lady of Guadalupe.
Return to the hotel and rest of the day free.
