Rome
In the morning, we’ll take a three-hour guided tour of the Eternal City, combining a walking tour of Imperial Rome with a panoramic bus ride to admire one of the oldest and most influential cities in Western civilization. During the tour, we’ll see several iconic landmarks, including the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums, the Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla, the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, the Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant’Angelo.
This tour will end around 11:00 a.m. at Vatican City, an independent state within the city of Rome and the center of the Catholic Church. For those who are especially interested, our guide will offer an optional visit after the panoramic tour to explore the most important halls of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel in more detail. Free afternoon.
6:00 p.m.: To end the day, we’ll include a transfer from the hotel to the popular Trastevere neighborhood, known for its charming restaurants and vibrant atmosphere.

Scenery: Stunning landscapes in the Bay of Naples and Sorrento.
Note: As we will be taking some boats, we suggest bringing warm clothes for the deck. Don´t forget your camera; the landscapes are breathtaking. Due to weather conditions, the ships connecting Naples with Capri or Sorrento may not operate. In such cases, the route will be modified, arriving in Sorrento by road and visiting Amalfi instead of Capri.
07:00 a.m. – Departure from Rome to travel to the Bay of Naples in southern Italy.
11:00 a.m. – We’ll stop in Naples to board a ferry (tickets included). The estimated departure is at 11:35 a.m. for a 50-minute cruise through beautiful landscapes.
12:45 p.m. - Capri. Enjoy free time. You can visit the White Grotto or take a cable car ride to the center of Capri.
04:15 p.m. - Departure from Capri. We’ll board the ferry again and continue to Sorrento (schedule subject to change). Enjoy the beautiful views upon arrival in Sorrento.
05:15 p.m. – Sorrento. We’ll arrive in a picturesque and lively town at the foot of a cliff, with a harbor in the lower area.

11:30 a.m. - Sanctuary of San Francesco di Paola. There will be time to explore this beautiful sanctuary set in stunning surroundings. Don’t miss the chance to visit the cave! Afterward, there will be free time for a stroll and lunch in the charming old town of Paola.
02:00 p.m. - Departure from Paola. We’ll continue to Villa San Giovanni, arriving around 4:30 p.m., where we’ll board a ship for a short 20-minute crossing to the island of Sicily.
05:30 p.m. - Messina. You’ll have time to explore the city center and enjoy your first experience on the island.

Taormina
Taromina – free day. This enchanting and small coastal city, nestled at the foot of Mount Etna is without a doubt one of the most beautiful places in the Mediterranean. Winston Churchill once described it as the most beautiful place on earth. Take time to stroll through the vibrant historic quarter, visit the Greek theatre with its breathtaking views, or relax on the beaches. Dinner will be included.

Scenery: Fertile fields covered with vineyards and citrus groves, as well as the Ionian coast, where history and sea intertwine in unforgettable scenery.
08:30 a.m. – Taormina – Departure. We descend toward the plain of Catania, at the foot of Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe.
09:30 a.m. – Catania – Arrival and free time to stroll through this city at the foot of Mount Etna, which blends history, art, and Mediterranean life. Its Baroque center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, impresses with squares such as the emblematic Piazza del Duomo, with the Elephant Fountain as the city’s symbol, and beautiful palaces built in volcanic stone, along with the bustling fish market, one of the most picturesque in Sicily.
11:30 a.m. – Catania – Departure. We continue south along the coast.
12:45 p.m. – Syracuse – Arrival. An ancient jewel of Magna Graecia on the Ionian Sea, renowned for its historical and cultural heritage. On its island of Ortigia, the historic core connected by bridges, you’ll find highlights such as the cathedral, built over a Greek temple, and the Maniace Castle, along with lively narrow streets, seaside terraces, and markets. Free time to stroll and have lunch.
4:00 p.m. – Syracuse – Departure. We cross the island’s interior, passing through hills and farmland.
7:00 p.m. – Agrigento – Arrival. Before reaching the hotel, from our coach we will admire the imposing Valley of the Temples, one of the most extraordinary archaeological sites in Sicily. Dinner included.

09:00 a.m. - After breakfast, we’ll begin our guided tour of Palermo. We’ll transfer to the charming village of Monreale, now located on the outskirts of the city. Here, we’ll visit the stunning Arab-Norman cathedral, a World Heritage Site renowned for its magnificent golden mosaics (tickets included). Back in Palermo, we’ll explore the cathedral (tickets included), famous for its eclectic architectural styles and royal tombs. We’ll also visit the Norman Palace (former Royal Palace), its fountains, markets, and gardens. Our panoramic tour will conclude at the Teatro Massimo Square, after which you’ll have free time for lunch and a leisurely stroll.
06:00 p.m. - We’ll transfer you to the port to board a modern night ferry, which will depart at 08:00 p.m. Our night cruise across the Mediterranean will include accommodation in double cabins with private bathrooms. Please note that breakfast is not included on the ferry. The ferry will be equipped with all modern comforts, including restaurants, bars, a banquet hall, and spacious lounges.
Note: Occasionally, due to weather conditions or changes in ferry schedules, we may need to use a different ferry than originally planned. These changes are often communicated on short notice and may affect services scheduled for Sunday.

We’ll arrive at the Port of Naples at 7:30 in the morning. After disembarking, we’ll depart for Pompeii, the ancient Roman city buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius two thousand years ago. Admission and a guided tour are included to explore the history of this remarkable site.

12:00 p.m. – Naples – one of the most fascinating cities in Italy and among the oldest populated places in Europe. The historic center Naples is one of the largest in Europe and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There will be time for a stroll and lunch.

Rome - Florence

Scenery: Pleasant landscapes with historic towns along the way.
Note: Due to traffic regulations established by the City Council of Florence, tourist buses are not allowed to enter the historic city center. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes.
08:00 a.m. – Departure from Rome. We will head north, enjoying the beautiful landscapes along the way. (Departure time may vary slightly depending on the pickup hotels.)
12:15 p.m. – Arrival in Florence. We will go directly to the Michelangelo Viewpoint, from where we will enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the city. Afterward, we will walk to the historic city center where, after some free time for lunch, we will take an included guided tour with a local guide of this iconic city, the capital of Tuscany, considered the cradle of the Renaissance and the birthplace of some of the most influential artists and thinkers in history, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Botticelli, and Raphael. During the tour, we will see its impressive Gothic cathedral (the Duomo), the ancient stone bridge known as the Ponte Vecchio with its traditional goldsmith shops, and Piazza della Signoria, the political heart of the city dominated by the medieval palace that now serves as the City Hall. The guided tour will last approximately two hours.
After the tour, you will have free time. We suggest strolling through the city’s artistic center, walking across the Ponte Vecchio with its charming galleries, or relaxing in one of its elegant squares.

Florence - Pisa - Cinque Terre - Genoa
Total distance covered: 317 km.
Scenery: Today is a day by the sea. The Ligurian Rivera coastline offers some of the most beautiful scenery and coastal gems in Europe.
07:30 a.m. – Departure from Florence.
09:15 a.m. - Pisa. We’ll be required to drop you off at the tourist bus parking area. From there, we’ll include a ride on the tourist train to access the monumental site. You’ll have time to explore the impressive complex of Pisa, featuring the Leaning Tower, Baptistery, and Cathedral.
11:00 a.m. – Departure from Pisa. We’ll continue traveling along the Mediterranean coast. Along the way, we’ll pass the Carrara Marble Mountains, which appear as if they are covered in snow.
12:45 p.m. - Levanto. We’ll arrive by train (tickets included) to one of its charming towns (normally Vernazza, but on peak tourism dates, it could be Manarola or Corniglia, very similar towns that are somewhat less crowded).
The train is scheduled to depart at 01:05 p.m. (subject to change), taking us through long tunnels next to the sea into the Cinque Terre region. Buses can’t access this area because of its steep, mountainous terrain. The area, which remained isolated and preserved its traditions, now thrives on sustainable tourism—thanks to its designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and its international fame—complemented by high-quality agriculture and traditional fishing.
01:30 p.m. - Vernazza - Arrival by train. We’ll arrive in one of the five villages of the Cinque Terre region, which retains its coastal character. Highlights include the Santa Margherita Church, built in 1318 on the seashore. Time for lunch.
03:44 p.m. – Departure from Vernazza (time subject to change). We’ll return by train to Levanto, where our bus will continue along the coast towards Genoa.
Note: The train to Cinque Terre is a regular commuter service, not a tourist train. During peak tourism times, there can be long waits as trains may be full, and seat reservations are not available. In some cases, the journey might be done standing.
05:45 p.m. - Genoa - Arrival in the city of elegant Renaissance palaces and the birthplace of Christopher Columbus. Free time in its historic center—one of the largest in Europe—a labyrinth of narrow streets filled with palaces, churches, and charming little trattorias.

10:15 a.m. - We’ll take a boat for a 20-minute crossing to Portofino, one of the most exclusive destinations in Europe. Enjoy some free time to explore this charming town.
12:00 p.m. - We’ll return to Santa Margherita, a delightful coastal town. There will be time for a leisurely walk and lunch.
Note: From May 30th to November 2nd, tourist buses are not allowed into Santa Margherita Ligure. During this period, the stop will be in Rapallo, another stunning coastal destination in the Liguria region, where we will board the boat to Portofino.
Additional note: Due to adverse weather conditions or during winter, the boat trip to Portofino (whether from Santa Margherita or Rapallo) may be canceled due to weather conditions. In such cases, you will have extra free time in the town, and if you wish, you can reach Portofino by local shuttle buses. Please note that this service may have limitations in frequency and comfort, including long waiting times.

04:30 p.m. – Milan. Arrival in this elegant city, a symbol of modernity and culture in northern Italy. You´ll have time to stroll through the city center, where you´ll find Milan’s famous Gothic cathedral in Piazza del Duomo, along with the statue of Victor Emmanuel II, the first king of unified Italy in 1861. We also recommend walking through the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II—an iconic shopping arcade with impressive glass vaults—and continuing to the city’s renowned opera house, La Scala.

Milan - Lake Region - Verona

07:30 a.m. – Departure from Milan. We’ll take the motorway to the great lakes. First, we’ll travel to Lake Orta; its isolated position and smaller size give it a special charm.
09:00 a.m. - Orta San Giulio - A beautiful, intact medieval town by the lake. In the center of the lake, we’ll immediately see the Island of San Giulio with its monastery. We’ll take a small tourist train to the town and then sail across the lake on hired boats to the island. We’ll have time to explore the town and the island.
11:00 a.m. – Departure from Orta San Giulio. We’ll travel to Lake Maggiore.
11:45 a.m. - Stresa - Arrival in this tourist town by Lake Maggiore. You’ll have time to stroll and enjoy lunch. If you wish, there’s also an opportunity to take a boat trip to the Borromean Islands located just off the town’s shore.
03:45 p.m. – Departure from Stresa. We’ll leave the mountains and travel through the industrious areas of the Po Valley.

01:00 p.m. - Venice. We’ll arrive at the port of Tronchetto and take a short boat ride to Venice. To get to know this magical city, we’ll include a visit to St. Mark’s Square with a local guide. You will also see the famous Murano glasswork. Afterwards, enjoy some free time—perhaps a gondola ride?
07:30 p.m. - Evening transfer to the hotel, normally in Mestre or Marghera.

09:30 a.m. – Departure from Padua. We’ll travel to the Adriatic coast and then to San Marino, a tiny independent country surrounded by Italy.
01:30 p.m. - San Marino. Free time at the top of the heavily fortified mountain. Time to stroll, have lunch, and do some shopping.
04:00 p.m. – Departure from San Marino. Beautiful countryside crossing the Apennines.
06:15 p.m. - Gubbio. A small, marvelously preserved city, where the Palace of Consuls and the twelfth-century cathedral stand out. Time for a walk.

11:00 a.m. - Assisi. Arrival in this charming medieval city protected by impressive walls, birthplace of Saint Francis. You’ll have time for lunch, to visit the basilicas and to wander through the cobblestone streets with their stunning views of the Umbrian countryside.
