We’ll immerse ourselves in the rich history of France at the magnificent Palace of Versailles (admission not included), renowned for its stunning gardens. On our return to Paris, we’ll visit Montmartre, where a cable car (included) will take us up to this charming bohemian neighborhood, famous for its artists, painters, and cabarets. To fully appreciate the grandeur of Paris, we’ll embark on a panoramic city tour with a local guide, showcasing the city’s impressive avenues and iconic monuments. Afterward, we’ll return to the hotel. For those interested, there is an optional variety show in the evening.
PARIS 39ºF - 41ºF
We’ll start our day in central Paris, beginning with a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower. You´ll have the chance to go up to the second floor of this famous iron landmark (tickets included). Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Seine, which will last approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. You’ll have a free afternoon to explore the city at your own pace.
Note: If wait times at the Eiffel Tower are too long, we might reschedule the visit to a different time (or on Sunday) for your convenience.
PARIS 39ºF - 41ºF - BURGUNDY - BEAUNE 34ºF - 34ºF - LYON 28ºF - 34ºF
Today, we’ll journey to the heart of France, passing through the Bourgogne region, renowned for its picturesque vineyards and world-class wines. Our first stop will be Beaune, a charming town in the center of Burgundy known for its flower-filled streets, hospice, and wine museum. After some free time for lunch and a walk, we’ll continue to Lyon, the former capital of Roman Gaul, located on the banks of the Rhône River. Lyon´s historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage site. We’ll take a cable car up to Notre-Dame de Fourvière, where we can enjoy a stunning view of the city. You’ll have some free time to explore at your leisure.
Note: In some cases, part of the group will stay in Chambéry, a city near Lyon. In these instances, we’ll travel to Chambéry in the evening for an overnight stay. In the morning, you’ll have time to visit this medieval-style city, the capital de la Saboya, known for its beautiful historic center and impressive castle.

Today, we’ll travel to Switzerland. Upon arrival in Geneva, we’ll pass by the Palace of Nations (the European headquarters of the United Nations) and explore the pretty English Garden with its flower clock and admire the Jet d’Eau, the tallest fountain in Europe.
Passing through vineyard landscapes, we’ll reach Chillon Castle, built on the waters of Lake Geneva. Admission is included to this fantastic medieval castle. Afterward, we’ll visit the picturesque walled village of Gruyeres, known worldwide for its cheese. Nearby, there are several major Swiss chocolate factories (including NESTLE). We’ll visit the Cailler Chocolate Factory, with a tasting included! We’ll continue traveling on smaller roads through bucolic mountain landscapes and picturesque wooden villages, arriving in Leysin, a beautiful holiday village. Dinner will be included.
Note: At times, accommodation may be arranged in another Swiss town nestled in the heart of the Alps, often Martigny.
LEYSIN 16ºF - 16ºF - INTERLAKEN 48ºF - 54ºF - AARE GORGE - CHIASSO 36ºF - 43ºF
We’ll experience stunning mountain scenery today, so be sure to pack your winter clothes. We’ll ascend to Glacier 3000 by cable car ride, one of the most spectacular spots in Switzerland featuring ice and snow year-round, and where you can walk on the suspended bridge between two mountain peaks, explore the Ice Cathedral, or enjoy the Fun Park. We’ll stop in Interlaken for lunch before traveling to the Aare Gorge. Next, we’ll take the Susten Pass, one of the most beautiful roads in Switzerland between glaciers that will lead us to the Italian-speaking part of the country. We’ll stay overnight in Chiasso, a Swiss town on the border with Italy.
Note: Occasionally, due to weather conditions such as rain or strong winds, the cable car to Glacier 3000 may not operate. Additionally, the Susten Pass Road is typically closed from mid-October until the end of May. In such cases, the journey will follow alternative routes.

We’ll visit Lugano, the cosmopolitan capital of Italian Switzerland with its beautiful lake, where we’ll have time to stroll. Continuing along the highway, we’ll cross the Gotthard Road Tunnel and stop in Bürglen, the charming village where William Tell was born. We’ll see the 16th-century chapel adorned with paintings illustrating his life. If you wish, you can also visit the William Tell Museum. In the neighboring city of Altdorf, we’ll find more traces of his history. Our journey will then take us to Lucerne, where we’ll have free time to explore this beautiful city by its namesake lake. We recommend going on an optional cruise along Lake Lucerne, considered one of the most beautiful in Switzerland.
LUCERNE 36ºF - 36ºF - EINSIEDELN 28ºF - 34ºF - VADUZ 34ºF - 34ºF - FELDKIRCH 32ºF - 34ºF
We’ll depart for Einsiedeln, renowned for its immense baroque abbey, the most important pilgrimage center in Switzerland. Continuing east, we’ll visit Maienfeld, the village that inspired the story of Heidi. In Heididorf, we’ll explore Heidi’s House a picturesque site with stunning landscapes accessible via a pedestrian path (tickets not included, admission is free). Next, we’ll enter the independent country of Liechtenstein and visit its capital, Vaduz, known for its impressive castle. There will be time to stroll and have lunch. Afterwards, we’ll proceed to the neighboring city of Feldkirch in Austria, a charming walled city near the borders of Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Germany, with its beautiful medieval quarter and castle. Free time.

We´ll begin our day by heading to the center of St. Gallen, recognized as a World Heritage Site for its magnificent cathedral and medieval old town. Continuing along Lake Constance, located between Germany and Switzerland, we´ll take a walk through the center of Constance before visiting Mainau Island (accessed via a pedestrian bridge), renowned for its beautiful botanical garden (admission included). Later, in Switzerland, we´ll explore Stein am Rhein, a picturesque village on the banks of the Rhine River known for its charming houses adorned with painted walls. Our itinerary also includes a visit to the Rhine Falls (ticket included), the most powerful waterfall in Europe. Our day will end upon our arrival in Zurich.
ZURICH 34ºF - 37ºF
With our guide, we’ll explore Zurich, the most populous city in Switzerland, and its financial and cultural heart. Known for its banks, Zurich has been twice recognized as the city with the best quality of life in the world. Afterwards, we’ll embark on a scenic cruise of nearly two hours on Lake Zurich, with brief stops to enjoy the charming villages along the route. We’ll disembark in Rapperswil, a picturesque village renowned for its medieval castle. We’ll return to Zurich by train, providing an opportunity to experience the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss railway system.
Note: Depending on the number of travelers, transfers to and from the city center may be via public transportation.
