The information about the meeting place and start time of your circuit can be found on your voucher.We departure for the Extremadura region crossing the Toledo lands where our first will be the OROPESA CASTLE, a construction that dates back to the 15th century and has now become a National Parador and where we will have a coffee. We continue our route through the province of Cáceres, arriving at the Guadalupe Monastery (entrance included), we will visit the sanctuary and the pilgrimage centre, declared World Heritage Site since 1993 where various architectural styles are mixed: Gothic, Mudéjar, Renaissance and Neoclassical. We head towards TRUJILLO, place where renowned conquerors like Pizarro and Francisco Orellana were born. We will be able admire its castle of Arab origin and its monumental square. We finish our day in the city of CÁCERES. Time for dinner and accommodation.

After breakfast and accompanied by our guide we will get to know the historic pedestrian centre of Cáceres, with its cobbled streets, its Gothic and Renaissance Palaces remembering its relationship with America. We can see its imposing Moorish originated wall with 30 towers. We continue towards PLASENCIA, a monumental city with a medieval layout that in turn I considered the centre of economic activity in the north of Extremadura. Time to walk and have lunch. We head towards the province of Salamanca entering the Francia Hills. In this region we will make a stop at LA ALBERCA, a small mountain town where its popular architecture stands out and attracted such as Sorolla or the writer Miguel de Unamuno.We continue our tour through the Charro field where its main protagonist it’s the wild bull, for this reason we will visit a cattle herd. During the visit we will ride in a 4x4 to be able to know in a living state the mother cows, steers and bulls, all their facilities, their bullring, garrisons, chapel etc. Arrival in the monumental city of SALAMANCA. Time for dinner and accommodation.

After breakfast and accompanied by our guide we will take an extensive walk thoug Salamanca, the famous university city with its historical centre declared World Heritage by UNESCO. We will visit its cathedral, its Plateresque style façade of the University, its Dominican Convent of Saint Stephen, its famous monumental Main Square , enjoying this cozy city where its typical Villamayor Stone can be seen in all its buildings. Square. We leave Salamanca for ALBA DE TOMES where the body of Saint Teresa of Jesus rests in the Chapel of the Annunciation. We will visit Carmelite Carmus Museum(entrance included). We continue our journey to MADRIGAL DE LAS ALTAS TORRES, the townof Isabel,the cradle of Isabel the Catholic Queen, defined by its original Mudejar wall, which came to have 100 towers that gave it its name and of which are still preserved 23 today. Time to walk around its historical centre and have a coffee. We follow the footsteps of Elizabet the Catholic to reach ARÉVALO, another picturesque town characterized by its Castilian Mudéjar architecture where the queen lived during her childhood. Time to get to know the Monumental Square and the old town. Return to Madrid. End of services. Our guide will drop you off at the agreed point.We hope you have enjoyed your circuit with Europamundo.
