We leave Valencia heading north, crossing the fertile orchard and orange groves until we reach the province of Castellón, where we find the CAVE OF SAN JOSÉ. It´s the longest navigable underground river in Europe, with fabulous stalactites and stalagmites. We will take a nice boat ride on its calm waters (entrance included). We continue towards VILAFAMES. Located in a beautiful enclave, also included in the list of the “most beautiful towns in Spain”. Locality chosen by many artists as a place of residence, located on a mountain overlooking a beautiful valley with centuries-old olive fields. In the highest part, the remains of its medieval castle still remain. Houses built with sandstone, reddish colour (rodeno), typical of the area. Walk with our tour guide through its quiet streets. We will have time to have lunch and savour its rich gastronomy where the “olleta” of Vilafamés stands out. We continue to the north of the province of Castellón to visit the beautiful town of PEÑÍSCOLA. Considered one of “The most beautiful towns in Spain”. The old town is located on a rocky promontory within the sea surrounded by strong walls. At its top is the Templar Castle that was residence in the 15th century of Benedict the XIII, also called the moon pope, very well preserved. We will walk with our guide through the narrow labyrinthine streets of Arab flavour with whitewashed cubic houses. Other highlights are its beautiful fishing harbour and its long fine sandy beaches. We leave the Azahar Coast head towards the Maéstrate mountains where MORELLA is located, another of the most beautiful villages once again. Medieval walled town on a mountain with a great panoramic view of the surroundings. Time to stroll through its network of medieval streets with churches, palaces, shops and restaurants where we will be able to taste its excellent gastronomy with rich cold meats, cheeses and typical sweets such as its curd and “flaons”.We leave the Valencian Community to cross "Bajo Aragón". Our first stop will be in CANTAVIEJA, small defensive village in what is called the emptied Spain. Time to stroll and contemplate its beautiful Main Square arcades. We continue to TERUEL, considered the capital of Mudejar Art and declared UNESCO world heritage city. Accompanied by our guide we will be able to see the impressive Mudejar bell towers built in brick with mainly green and white ceramic geometric decorations. We can enjoy its good gastronomy, known for the Serrano ham from Teruel or its roasted lamb. Accommodation.

We leave Teruel to head towards the province of Valencia. During this tour we will cross oe of the Wine Regions with Designation of Origin , D.O.P: Utiel – Requena, where we will have the opportunity to visit one of its typical wineries. Before continuing towards the coast we will continue traveling through the interior of Valencia until we reach ALMANSA located in Albacete and bordering between Valencia and Murcia. Its impressive Medieval Castle stands out. We will have time to wake and have lunch., being able to try the typical dishes from the region such as Manchego Gazpacho, its local cold soups or the typical Manchego cheese. Return to Valencian Community through the interior of the province of Alicante we will find the route of medieval castls: Villena, Sax and Elda. We will make brief stops in each of them to be able to take pictures of their fantastic exteriors. We head towards the coast with destination ALICANTE. Once there, we will go up by the elevator to the Castle of Santa Bárbara (entrance included). Incredible castle between the historical centre, the sportive port and the beach of Postiguet. Scenic views from there of the desertic mountains and the shocking blue color of the Mediterranean Sea. Once in the lowest part of the city we will enjoy of a walking guided tour by the historic centre, town hall, Saint Nichols cocathedral, Saint Mary basilique, the esplanada, a beautiful promenade along the sportive port. Time for dinner and accommodation.
ALICANTE 73ºF - 79ºF - CASTELL DE GUADALEST - COSTA BLANCA - VALENCIA 70ºF - 73ºF
We leave the city of Alicante heading North. Not far away from the coast, in the mountains, we reach the small Town of CASTELL DE GUADALEST, declared a Historic Artistic Complex in 1974 and also belonging to our list of “Most Beautiful Villages in Spain. We will visit its Museum of Miniatures (admission fee included).We return to the Coast we follow the path marked out by the Mediterranean, to reach CALPE, with its Ifach rock, a high rock in the sea and symbol of the White Coast. Accompanied by our guide we will have the time to walk and have lunch in the fishermen village. We continue following the coast towards San antonio cape, where the mountains plummet into the sea forming high cliffs. Time for pictures. Obeying the sea we will go from the White Coast to the Azahar Coast, already in the province of Valencia, with large orange groves and beautiful panoramic views.Before reaching Valencia we find the Natural Park of Albufera, surrounded of rice fields, the pine trees of La Dehesa del Saler, and a long and semi savage beach. We will enjoy a boat ride through the albufera (included) and we will know the flora and fauna of his incredible natural space. After this pleasant boat ride we will return to Valencia.
