The information about the meeting place and start time of your circuit can be found on your voucher.We start our journey from Seville towards the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche, where we will cross the border. Our first stop in the Alentejo will be in SERPA, a charming town of white houses, surrounded by 13th century walls and an interesting 16th century aqueduct.We continue our itinerary to visit the neighboring city of MOURA, with its well-preserved Muslim city, its typical architecture and the remains of its castle. Our route continues towards the elegant medieval city of MONSARAZ, with its quiet streets and whitewashed houses, where every corner is a postcard. Time to stroll and have lunch. Very close to Monsaraz, we find traces of a megalithic construction, very abundant in the Alentejo, related to the cult of nature and the stars, the CROMLECH DE XEREZ. We continue on SÃO PEDRO DO CORVAL, the main ceramic center of the peninsula. We finished the stage by arriving at EVORA, capital of Alentejo. Together with our guide, we will have time to stroll in the afternoon - evening in the historic center, its peaceful and cozy atmosphere and dinner in one of its restaurants. Accommodation.

After breakfast, we will visit the city accompanied by our guide; We can see the Praça do Giraldo, the Roman temple dedicated to Diana and her cathedral (entrance included). We leave Évora towards REDONDO, a charming walled city where time seems to have stopped. Time to walk the streets. We are going to another small town in this incredible region, ALANDROAL. We will be able to walk and contemplate its dark stone castle preserved in perfect conditions that seems to emerge from the houses that surround it. We continue our route to the ruins of JUROMENHA´S FORTRESS After visiting these three hidden corners of the Alentejo, we left for ELVAS. Being an important border post, the city is located within a large bastion. The entire defensive complex of the city has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will visit its famous aqueduct, considered the largest in the Iberian Peninsula. Time to stroll and have lunch. Our next stop will be in the pleasant environment of CASTELO DE VEIROS, which preserves its entire walled enclosure and its original clock tower. We continue towards ESTREMOZ, which they call “the city of marble”, because in the surroundings there are important quarries of this material and are present in most of its historic buildings. The city is surrounded by an ancient wall and dominated by the silhouette of its medieval castle. We will enjoy a walk through its streets. We finished today´s stage by returning to Évora. We left Évora and went to another of the Alentejo jewels, BEJA. Located in what is known as “Plain Dourada”, the city is surrounded by abundant wheat fields that make the environment an idyllic place. We continue south and will make a short stop in ALJUSTREL. Our vehicle will drop us at the top, where the remains of his castle and its beautiful chapel are located. From there, we will enjoy magnificent views of the city and descend the spectacular stairs of the city. Now we are going to CASTRO VERDE, a pleasant and peaceful city, where we will have time to have lunch at one of its restaurants. We will continue our route towards the beautiful MÉRTOLA. Many call it "the white pearl of the Guadiana", as it is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the region. Its streets of white houses keep all the essence of a well-preserved medieval city. Before crossing the border, we will stop at the POMARAO CHAPEL to take some pictures of the Guadiana River as seen from the hill where this chapel is located. From there, we will cross the river and enter Spain, to return to Seville, where we will arrive in the late afternoon End of services.
