We will go to the ZELATUN field, a beautiful meadow located 600 meters from the summit of Mount Ernio, the geographical center of the province of Guipúzcoa, where we will enjoy the beautiful landscape and have a small snack in the mountain canteen ... Then, we will climb to the top of the ERNIO! Mythical hill of Basque culture and home to Mari, the most important deity in the Basque pantheon. On the way to the summit, we will pass by the shepherd´s refuge, with a curious tradition that our guide will explain to us. We will reach the summit to enjoy spectacular views. After the ascent, we will make a minivan route visiting ERREZIL and BIDANIA-GOIATZ, living examples of mountain villages in the Basque countryside. We will go to SANTA MARINA, a mountainous district in the city of Albiztur, where we will enjoy an incredible view of the valley and will be able to taste the famous red beans of Tolosa.Then, we will descend the port of Bidania and arrive at the old capital of the province, the city of TOLOSA. There we will have the opportunity to visit the International Puppet Center of Tolosa, TOPIC (admission included), the only center dedicated entirely to the art of puppeteers. From the hands of our guide, we will get to know the historic center of Tolosa, its commerce and the atmosphere of its taverns. Return to the hotel in SAN SEBASTIÁN. * If the weather prevents you from climbing Mount Ernio, we will visit the Igartubeiti house museum, the Baserri culture museum or the Basque farm in Ezquio.

Today we will go to the heart of the region of Goierri, to the city of ORDIZIA. From there, we will depart with our local guide to take a stroll through the streets of the old city, through the buildings, sites and sculptures related to the history of the market, until we reach the Plaza Mayor. We will find the baserritarras that come down from the farms and tell us stories and experiences. We will also visit Sindikato, the Agricultural Cooperative of Campo that celebrates its centennial this year. We will enjoy the Ordizia Market, visiting the stalls and enjoying a pintxo (included in the visit). Time for lunch. Later, we will go to AZPEITIA, to visit the Basilica of Loyola and the Holy House (entrance included), where Santo Inácio de Loyola was born, patron of Guipúzcoa and founder of the Order of the Jesuits. After this visit, we will approach the city center of Azpeitia to take a walk through the old city. Accommodation in SAN SEBASTIÁN.

After breakfast, we head towards the ARRIKRUTZ OÑATI CAVES, in the heart of the Aizkorri mountain range, which are an exceptional example of the karst landscape. Specialized guided tour of the caves, with detailed and very interesting explanations (visit suitable for all ages). In the end, we will move to the SANCTUARY OF NUESTRA SEÑORA DE ARÁNZAZU, (entrance included), patron of the province. Surrounded by spectacular scenery, it is an architectural work that leaves no one indifferent. After this encounter with art and mysticism, we arrive in OÑATI, where we can have lunch and then take a guided tour, visit the Sancti Spiritus University (entrance included), a Renaissance jewel in Euskadi and the San Miguel Parish, with the cloister , crossed by the Ubao River, which makes it unique in Spain. Return to the hotel. Today we will discover the coastal city of ZUMAIA, where we will take a walk to discover the Flysch Cliffs, spectacular and impressive geological formations, and we will approach the famous Ermita de San Telmo, which is located on the cliff. We will also have time to enjoy the Old Town of this beautiful coastal city. Then, we will go to GETARIA, the city where Juan Sebastián Elcano was born, the first navigator to travel the world, and we will visit the Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum, (entrance included), a public institution dedicated to studying and keeping alive the memory of the designer born in City. Time to have lunch and enjoy this small town, the church of San Salvador and, of course, the “Rato de Getaria”, the silhouette of Monte San Antón, known for its peculiar shape overlooking the sea.
