The information about the meeting place and start time of your circuit can be found on your voucher.We leave Paris early in the morning to arrive and discover the Normandy region. The first stop will be in a charming town called LYONS LA FORET. A short walk through its streets with half-timbered walls, colored adobe and pink bricks creating an harmonious and typically Norman ensemble. We continue our tour to the wonderful medieval city of ROUEN. It has an important historical heritage, the hole city is like an openair museum, with its beautiful half-timbered houses, its tiny and medieval streets and its Gothic churches. We will have time to walk along with our guide and have lunch. We continue our route to the charming village of LE BEC HELLOUIN, with its wooden houses and flowery streets. For a long time it was a very influential religious point, highlights the Notre-Dame du Bec abbey that still remains occupied by Benedictine monks. We head towards the coast and we will stop at HONFLEUR. This maritime town invites you to discover its picturesque narrow streets and its old houses. The city has managed to preserve the traces of its rich historical past. Inspirational city of Monet and some others impressionist painters. We will get going again to visit another beautiful Norman town, BEUVRON EN AUGE, located on the Cider Route. We will take a walk with our guide to contemplate the typical architecture of the region. We finish our day route in the city of Santa Teresita, patron saint of the missions: LISIEUX. A large number of pilgrims have as their goal the monumental Basilica dedicated to this Saint. In the morning, if you wish, you will have time to visit the Basilica of Santa Teresa. We continue our route to the city of CHARTRES, with the elegant silhouette of its Cathedral (entrance included). Religious building declared a World Heritage Site constitutes an authentic masterpiece of Gothic art. We will take a walk through its medieval neighborhoods famous for its narrows and medieval streets , stairs, half-timbered houses, museums, beautiful exhibitions and terraces. Time for lunch before continuing to the Castle of Sully Sur Loire (entrance included), a medieval fortress, classified as a historical monument, it still maintains its uniqueness thanks to its wide moat still with water, and its tall conical watchtowers. Inside we will see paintings and tapestries as well as a magnificent 14th century carpentry. From the castle, we will move to AUXERRE, a city with a prestigious cultural heritage, of its Gallo-Roman, medieval, gastronomic and wine-growing history. An artistic and historical city full of charming half-timbered houses. Time to walk and accommodation.

We start our day going to the south, to TOURNUS, located on the banks of the Saona River. We will be able to see its abbey and its extraordinary abbey church Saint-Philibert, a jewel of Romanesque architecture. We will also visit the Abbey of Cluny (entrance included), founded in 910.The Abbey of Cluny was a place of extraordinary influence in Europe, in a political, artistic and religious aspects. With its nine high-rise barrel vaults, an elevation above three floors, its historically capitals, Cluny created and spread the Cluniac style throughout Europe. We will get to know another city with historical and artistic landmarks, PARAY LE MONIAL, with its well-known Chapel of the Apparitions, a site where Jesus would have appeared to Saint Marguerite-Marie and his Sacre-Coeur Basilica, one of the best exponents of Romanesque art . After lunch we will head to one of the most beautiful villages in France, SEMUR IN BRIONNAIS. We will be fascinated by its colorful pinkish ochre, its medieval castle, its splendid 12th-century Romanesque church and its ancient houses. Our last stop today will be at NEVERS, a historical-artistic city located on the banks of the Loire River. Dominated by the silhouette of its Gothic cathedral, it houses an important architectural heritage that will surprise you.Together with our guide we will have time to enjoy the city. Accommodation.

We leave early to visit the town of BOURGUES. We will take a pleasant walk with our guide discovering the old city, with its cobbled streets and half-timbered houses, its Gothic and Renaissance palaces, its small squares with cafes and the shops in pedestrian streets. Highlights include the Saint - Etienne Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its famous Jacques-Coeur Palace, a 15th century civil building in flamboyant Gothic style. We continue to the capital of the Loire Valley Region, ORLEANS, one of the most beautiful cities in France where history, Joan of Arc and the Loire River occupy a predominant place. We will visit the Sainte-Croix Cathedral with our guide, a Gothic-style architectural building. After lunch we will leave to YEVRE LE CHATEL, located on a rocky spur, we will have time to walk through this charming town full of flowers and discover the medieval fortress with its towers and its walls. We continue traveling north to visit MORET SUR LOING, a picturesque town that inspired many impressionist artists and painters and where every corner is a postcard.
