We will walk through the old town and "Cald des Jueus" Jewish Quarter, the Arab Baths, the Cathedral, the houses near Onyar river. They are many reasons to visit this beautiful city,increasingly valued, stage of many series.. We will continue to the medieval town of PALS, located on a hill, overlooking the plain, in which rice is grown with an designation of origin. Time to have lunch, maybe an "arros caldós"?.In the afternoon we will take a small train to tour the plantations, from which we will go down to visit a rice mill from the XVth century (Visit included) Now we are going to know another medieval town, PERATALLADA We will walk through its narrow and tortuous alleys that will transport us to other times, from the castle to the market square. To end our day we will arrive to ROSAS,, attractive and lively city, located to the north of the gulf with the same name. Accommodation

Today we take the winding mountain road that will take us to Cadaqués, only town in the National Park of Creus, the easternmost point on the Iberian Peninsula, where we can see the Pyrenees break into the Mediterranean sea. On the way we will pass PORTLLIGAT, where Salvador Dali´s House is located. Short stop to take some pictures and continuation to the CAPE OF CREUS LIGHTHOUSE with time to walk and enjoy the characteristic breeze of the place. We will take the same way to go back to CADAQUÉS, beautiful town in Costa Brava. It is a pleasure to walk on its sea port with its coves of turquoise waters. A picturesque old town. After leaving Cadaqués we will continue to travel the Cape of Creus National Park and we will arrive to EL PORT DE LA SELVA, fishing village, with its bay at the foot of Sierra de Rodes, chaired by the church of St Mary. Time to have lunch. At a distance of a few kms and raised on a pick of the Sierra de Rodes we will find the MONASTERY OF SAINT PERE DE RODES (entrance included), witness of Romanesque Catalan Architecture, county spiritual center and where we can enjoy one of the best views of Cape of Creus. We will follow to EMPURIABRAVA that constitutes the most important residential marina of Europe, built in channels, with an exit to the sea and boat mooring in all houses. Boat tour where we will discover the authenticity of this way of life in constant contact with the sea Time to walk and return to Rosas

After breakfast we continue to the border town of LA JONQUERA where the Exile Memorial Museum is located. (Visit included), an interpretation center that reminds the provoked exiles by the Spanish Civil War and in Catalonia, space for memory, history and reflection. We will cross eastern Pyrenees, crossing the border to enter France and we will go to ELNA with more than 2600 years of history, episcopal see and where is located the Château (Castle) d´en Bardou, better known as Swiss Maternity of Elne (visit included) whose history dignifies the role of people that selflessly help refugees. After lunch we will continue our tour towards the interior of the eastern Pyrenees. At the feet of Canigó peak t is a wide area dedicated to wine and liquors production. One of the main populations is Thuir where we will visit a cellar with the largest oak barrel in the world. Visit and tasting. From here we will go to one of the better known and most picturesque towns in southeast France, COLLIOURE, by its walls, its architecture, its light, known to be the place where writer Antonio Machado is buried. Our guide will accompany us to the cemetery where his tomb is located, symbol of all spanish exiles. Return and Accommodation in Rosas.

Our day begins in FIGUERES, native city of Dalí. We will visit the Theater- Museum (entry included), originally a theater designed and supervised by the same painter, where every space is an artwork. We continue to the Greco-Roman ruins of EMPURIES (entrance included). One of the most valuable archaeological sites of Iberian Peninsula. After this visit will go the town of L´ESCALA where traditional production is preserved. Visit and taste in an anchovy caning. Time for lunch.In the afternoon we will continue our tour to SANT FELIU DE GUIXOLS, seafaring population with memories of its indian past, reflected in the many houses located in the seafront. We will go up to ST ELM VIEWPOINT where a monolith remembers that in this place the term "Costa Brava" emerged from the first time, for its steep and rocky shores. Time for pictures. We will continue our tour on the wonderful coast road to TOSSA DEL MAR, true open-air museum where we will enjoy time to visit it and walk its imposing medieval wall by the sea. We´ll arrive to Barcelona at the end of the day. End of services. Our guide will drop you off at the agreed point.We hope you have enjoyed your circuit with Europamundo.
