Welcome to your Europamundo Trip Style!!! The information about the meeting place and start time of your circuit can be found on your voucher.We begin our exciting itinerary to know 7 cities from the Roman province of Asia, mentioned in the Book of Revelation, which was unveiled to John the Apostle. In each of these cities there were local churches or congregations of Christians that were selected by the Lord to send a specific message to each of them in early Christianity. In addition to the religious and symbolic aspect, you will also find a unique tour of historical places and nature.In the morning, after picking you up at your hotel, we will first go to the legendary TROY (entrance included), scene of Homer´s Iliad. We will enjoy a visit to the 9 sites of the city on the Hisarlik hill, and we will see the replica of the famous Trojan horse.We will continue to ÇANAKKALE, accommodation and dinner.

In the morning, after breakfast, we will visit the first of the churches that give name to our trip, the mythical PERGAMON. Site of many pagan temples, Pergamon also represented a strong bastion of Christianity since the 2nd century AD, as confirmed by the monumental size of the Basilica of St John. It was the capital of the Hellenic kingdom and its library the second richest after Alexandria´s in Egypt. We shall not forget that the parchment was invented here. We will visit the Basilica of Saint John (The Red Basilica), the Temple of Zeus and the Emperor Trajan, the Hellenic Theater and the place of the library (tickets included). After a short transfer by coach, we will arrive at the Asclepeion of Pergamon, one of the three most famous hospitals or “Healing Temple” in the ancient world (entrance included). In the afternoon, we will reach THYATIRA, another of The 7 Churches (entrance included) mentioned in the Apocalypse. At the time, this was a small city without fortifications or acropolis, but of fundamental importance due to its strategic position on the commercial routes. It was, therefore, a city of artisans and guilds as is reflected in a passage from the Acts of the Apostles. We continue to KUSADASI. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

After breakfast, we will visit SARDIS (entrance included), capital of the ancient kingdom of Lydia and the place of the church that received the fifth of the seven letters in Revelation, also known for its beautiful gymnasium and large paved synagogue.Later, we will go to PHILADELPHIA, the penultimate Church (entrance included), considered as an example for believers and one of the favorite cities of Saint Paul and Saint John.Then we will cross the fertile valleys that will take us to PAMUKKALE, known as the Cotton Castle for its snow-white limestone travertine (entrance included).Accommodation and dinner at the hotel, where we can enjoy its thermal pools.

Today an interesting stage awaits us that begins by visiting HIERAPOLIS (entrance included). Mentioned in the Epistle of Saint Paul to the Colossians. Here, the Apostle Philip came to preach Christianity and is believed to have lived and been martyred by the Romans. Hierapolis is one of the great sites of Anatolia. We will explore one of the richest cemeteries in the ancient world, the Domitian main gate and the main avenue. We will also visit the White Travertine Waterfall of Pamukkale, a unique place in the world, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO (admission fee included). We will continue to LAODICEA ON THE LYCUS (entrance included), the seventh of the Seven Churches, where John called the Christians "Indifferent", "the church with a lukewarm faith". Recent excavations are revealing the walls of what could have been a monumental church. We end our day in KUSADASI. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

Our last day begins after breakfast, visiting the splendid city of EPHESUS. Ephesus was the capital of the Roman province of Asia Minor, the site of one of the seven wonders of the world, including the Temple of Artemis, and also the site of the third richest library in the ancient world, the Celsus Library. Saint Paul came to Ephesus in 54 AD. He preached, gained followers, and also established the church of Ephesus. In Revelation it is referred to as "the Church that had abandoned her first love". Saint John also spent his last years here and it is the place where the Virgin Mary is said to have lived and ascended to Paradise. Entrance included to the house of the Virgin Mary. In the late afternoon, transfer to Izmir airport to take a domestic flight to Istanbul.VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION: DURING THE MONTH OF RAMADAN THE MAIN TOURIST ATTRACTIONS WILL REMAIN OPEN ALTHOUGH IT IS POSSIBLE TO HAVE CHANGES IN OPENING AND CLOSING TIMES. DURING THE RELIGIOUS HOLIDAYS (END OF RAMADAN AND SACRIFICE) THE BAZAARS AND SOME MONUMENTS WILL BE CLOSED.
