Welcome to your Europamundo Trip Style!!! The information about the meeting place and start time of your circuit can be found on your voucher.Early departure from Brussels to GHENT, birthplace of Emperor Charles V. We will walk with our guide through its historic centre, full of medieval charms and contemporary life. We will visit the Town Hall, the Belfry, Saint Nicholas Church and Graslei Medieval Quay from St. Michael´s Bridge and we will reach the Castle of the Counts of Flanders. We then head for SLUIS, a city located in the Netherlands close to the Belgian border, which has always been of great strategic importance. We will have time to stroll through its lively centre and have lunch. We continue our stage towards one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the world: BRUGES. It is a quiet and welcoming city of a beauty suspended in time. Surrounded by its walls and full of canals that will take us back to the Middle Ages, we will have time to stroll through the city centre and discover its nooks and crannies. We will end our day in DUNKIRK, a port city in the north of France. Accommodation.

After breakfast, we will visit the centre of Dunkirk, France´s third largest port, a city hard hit by countless wars. During the Second World War, it was here, on its beaches, that the “Miracle of Dunkirk” took place, it was the most famous Allied retreat. We will continue our journey through France until we reach ÉPERLECQUES. Located in the forest of a town, with the same name, we will visit a huge bunker from which the Germans launched missiles towards England during the Nazi era (entrance fee included). Our next stop will be in LENS, a city badly affected by the World Wars and, later, by the decline of mining, which was its main economic activity. The city has managed to recover, an example of this is the Louvre-Lens Museum, built on the site of a former coal mine (entrance fee included). We will also visit the Ring of Memory, a living museum located on the hill of Notre-Dame de Lorette where the names of the 580,000 people who died during World War I are displayed. We will continue towards the Vimy Memorial, an impressive monument built by the Canadians to commemorate their 66,000 casualties during the war. We might also see part of the reconstructed trenches and tunnels. We will arrive at NAOURS, an authentic underground city of Roman origin built in the III century and which was used during the two World Wars and became Nazis headquiarters(entrance fee included). Our last stop will be in the charming town of AMIENS. Accommodation.

In the morning, we will have the opportunity to stroll through the streets of this charming city so full of life, standing out with its Notre-Dame Cathedral, declared a World Heritage Site. It was the scene of the Battle of Amiens, one of the important Allied offensives on the Western Front during World War I. We will head towards Château de Péronne, a XIII century castle. Inside, we can visit the museum of First World War, which brings together collections of military and everyday objects from the civilian populations of Germany, France and Great Britain (entrance fee included).We will continue on to another of the most famous war enclaves, SAINT-QUENTIN. This is where one of Philip II of Spain´s most important victories against French soldiers took place. It was part of the Hindenburg Line during World War I and was bombed in a devastating manner.We will travel to REIMS, an ancient city of Roman origin where we will visit its Cathedral, one of the best Gothic cathedrals that we can see in France. We will also visit its Place Royale or royal square. Accommodation.

Early departure from Reims for ROCROI. The battle that took place here in 1643 marked the decline of Spanish military hegemony in Europe. Nowadays, it is a fortified town in the shape of a star. We will visit its main square and some of its fortifications. We will continue our route to another of the most emblematic sites of the continent´s wars, SEDAN. Napoleon III was imprisoned there during the Franco-Prussian War. During World War II, German soldiers managed to cross the supposedly impassable Maginot Line which allowed them to invade France through Sedan. We will have time for lunch here and then, we will leave France and head for LUXEMBOURG. We will arrive in its lively capital, surrounded by defiant cliffs. Here, we will have time to enjoy its beautiful old town with medieval fortifications declared World Heritage Site. Accommodation.

Early in the morning, we will return to Belgium to visit NAMUR, one of the most attractive cities in the country with its millenary fortification that crowns it, as well as the beauty of the two rivers that flow through the town. It was an important target for the Germans during the invasion of Belgium in 1914. During World War II, it was on the front line of the Battle of the Bulge in 1940 and 1944.We will have some time to enjoy the city and then, we will go to GEMBLOUX. It is a Belgian city known in the past for the quality of its knives. We will walk with our guide through its narrow streets from where we will see the famous bell tower of the old Saint-Sauveur church.After lunch, we will set off to return to BRUSSELS. We will make a photo stop at the Atomium before arriving at the lively city centre and its Grand Place. It is a city of contrasts with XV century buildings as well as Art Nouveau architecture, where we will find the great cultural mix that characterises it. End of services. End of services.
