We will depart early from our resort towards a magical place: CHOJ HA, an unknown tourist location. With the family that discovered the enclosure, we will explore, with flashlights, the cave of stalactites. We will even take a bath in the magnificent “cenote” (cave with water). The Mayan family who discovered this place will tell us about their culture and how it was found. After this, we´ll continue for CHICHEN ITZA, after some free time for lunch we include entrance fee and visit to the Mayan civilisation’s most important and renowned archaeological site and declared World Heritage. We will know the mythical Pyramid of Kukulkan, the Temple of the Warriors, the Holy “Cenote” (natural well), and where the “ball game” took place. After discovering this fantastic holy place, we will travel to IZAMAL, where we will have free time to visit the city. The village, which is considered one of the most beautiful in Mexico, was declared a “magical village”. We will continue to MERIDA, the vibrant capital of Yucatan, a city full of life and music. If it is celebrated the night of your arrival, we will also provide you a transfer to enjoy the Sound and Light show.

In the morning we include a visit to MERIDA, the capital of Yucatan. We will discover the fortified Cathedral, the 16th century Montejo House and the beautiful narrow streets of the historic center. About midday (12pm), we will travel to PROGRESO, a very close town with a lot of commercial and touristic life. Its active pier, together with its very pleasant beach offers many possible restaurants to enjoy lunch (not included). What about a swim in the sea? We will leave in the afternoon following the picturesque road that runs between the Gulf of Mexico and swamp and mangroves lagoons, in these lagoons numerous birds nest, and in certain times of the year we can see pink flamingos. We will make a stop at the UAYMITUN viewpoint to photograph the lagoon and its birds. We will continue to XCAMBO. This mangrove area was an important commercial and salt center during the prehispanic times. Considered as a pilgrimage place, the veneration of Virgin Mary still takes place at a chapell over one of the main Mayan foundations (entrance included). After visiting this place, we will travel through excellent roads to RIO LAGARTOS, one of the most beautiful places in Yucatan, a World Heritage site. Its sunsets are considered some of the most beautiful of Mexico. Dinner included and accomodation.

RIO LAGARTOS 82ºF - 82ºF - SAN FELIPE 84ºF - 84ºF - VALLADOLID MX - CANCUN 84ºF - 84ºF

Today will be a fantastic day!. At dawn, we will discover RIO LAGARTOS, a biosphere reserve declared World Heritage site. We will include a three hours excursion by boat. The landscapes are breathtaking. We will see several pink flamingos, pelicans, crocodiles and numerous species of birds. On our tour by boat, we will stop to see the “Aguas Coloradas’” (Coloured Waters), walk by the mud, and, if you wish to do so, fill your body with clay. Later on, we will be able to bathe in the sea’s warm waters. After this, we will travel in our minivan to the picturesque fishing village of SAN FELIPE, we will enjoy some time at its magnificent beach to which we´ll arrive by boat ( in a pleasant 10 minutes journey). Time to rest on the beach and lunch. In the afternoon we will travel to VALLADOLID, the third most populous city of Yucatan with its picturesque historic centre. After this, return to CANCUN. Today’s accommodation will be in an accommodation-breakfast regime (depending on the dates, it could be in an urban hotel instead of a resort by the beach).

Today we include an excursion to know some of the most renowned points of the Mexican Caribbean. We will leave towards TULUM, known for its well-preserved ruins of an ancient Mayan port town. The main building, “El Castillo” (The Castle), is placed on a rocky cliff that ends in a white sand beach giving a turquoise colour to the sea. After that we will head to Playa del Carmen where we will take a ferry for approximately 45 minutes to COZUMEL ISLAND and its capital SAN MIGUEL. Very pleasant full of life tourist city and also know for its graffiti murals. Time to stroll and enjoy. Return by ferry to Playa del Carmen. Return to your hotel (arrival in the late afternoon).

Free time until the transfer to the airport to board your departure flight.
