Welcome to your Europamundo Trip Style tour!
We leave around 8 in the morning for Extremadura crossing Toledo. Between mountains we visit GUADALUPE, where with our guide we walk visiting its large square, its picturesque, cobbled streets and the Monastery of Guadalupe (entrance and guided tour included), sanctuary and pilgrimage center declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In this monastery Gothic, Mudejar, Renaissance and Neoclassical art styles are combined. After that we continue to TRUJILLO, where Pizarro and Francisco Orellana were born, we will admire its castle of Arab origin and its monumental square. Free time for lunch. We continue to MERIDA, capital of Extremadura, founded by the Romans in the first century BC. Its archaeological site is impressive, highlighting the Roman theater. We include entrance to the Roman theater and amphitheater, and the National Museum of Roman Art that allows us to learn more about the art and culture of this ancient empire. We continue to CÁCERES. Time for dinner. A short walk to get to know the illuminated monumental center.

After breakfast we will walk with our guide through the historic center of Cáceres, with its cobbled streets, its Gothic and Renaissance palaces remembering its relationship with America and its imposing wall of Moorish origin with 30 towers. We continue to PLASENCIA, a monumental city of medieval layout, center of economic activity in the north of Extremadura. Time for a stroll and lunch. Through landscapes of mountains and pastures we enter Castilla-Leon. We visit LA ALBERCA, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, highlights its popular architecture that attracted artists such as Sorolla or the writer Miguel de Unamuno. Arrival in the monumental city of SALAMANCA. Time for dinner and we suggest that you visit its illuminated center and enjoy the active youth life of the city.

After breakfast and accompanied by our guide we will take a walk through Salamanca, famous university city with its historic center declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will visit its cathedral, its famous façade of the University of Plateresque style, its Dominican convent of Saint Stephen, its famous Plaza Mayor, enjoying this cozy city. We leave Salamanca for ALBA DE TORMES, a picturesque town where the body of Saint Teresa of Jesus rests in the chapel of the Annunciation. We will visit the Carmelite museum CARMUS (entrance included with audio guide). We continue through Castilla towards ÁVILA, the medieval walls are impressive, we will pass them with our vehicle and we will make a stop at Cuatro Postes, a religious monument on the outskirts of Ávila from where the best photographs of the walled city are taken. After a time for lunch, accompanied by our guide we visit the old city, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, where we will visit, among other sites, the Basilica of Saint Vicent in Romanesque style, the oldest in Ávila, the Cathedral of El Salvador, the first in Spain to incorporate the Gothic style, the Plaza del Mercado Chico, nerve center of the town, and we will walk through a sector of the wall. You will have some free time to stroll or, if you wish, buy their famous "yolks", delicious local sweet.
