Welcome to your Europamundo Trip Style tour!
We will leave PARIS around 8.00 in the morning. We travel to CHARTRES, famous for its impressive Gothic cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is considered one of the most beautiful in Europe. Its stained-glass windows and Gothic sculptures are a stand out, and have remained largely intact since the thirteenth century (we enter its interior without including a visit). We will also walk with our guide through "Little Venice" with its canals and bridges and walk through the old town, a labyrinth of narrow cobbled streets, full of half-timbered houses.
We continue to the Loire Region where we will visit some of its most emblematic castles. In SAUMUR, a city on the banks of the Loire River, known for its wine cellars, we will visit the impressive SAUMUR CASTLE, from the tenth century, that houses the Museum of Arms, with one of the largest collections of weapons and armor in Europe (entrance included). Time for lunch. On the outskirts of the town, we include a one-hour visit to Cadre Noir, one of the most famous equestrian schools in the world. We follow the Loire Valley to the CASTLE OF VILLANDRY, built in the sixteenth century and famous for its terraced gardens, which include an herb garden, a flower garden, a water garden and a vegetable garden, all carefully designed and maintained. We include the entrance to the gardens. We will continue to TOURS, next to the Loire, a city of Gallo-Roman origin with impressive Gothic cathedral and ancient medieval old town. Free time, we suggest a walk through the neighborhood of Place Plumereau, full of bars and restaurants. Accommodation.
