Upon arrival we head towards Berat, a city listed as a UNESCO world heritage site as a rare and well-preserved example of an Ottoman city. Discovery of the fortress. Visit of the Onufri museum, located in the church of the Dormition of the Virgin, which houses a magnificent collection of icons. Free time to walk in the old town or the lower city. BERAT 64ºF - 64ºF - GIROKASTRA
Breakfast. Path between mountains, with impressive views of Gjirokastra. Arrival in Gjirokastra. Discovery of this museum-city, listed as a UNESCO world heritage site, with a well-preserved Ottoman past. Visit its citadel leaning on the mountain and then a typical house with defensive towers called Kulle from the outside. Return and accommodation.
GIROKASTRA - BUTRINT - PORTO PALERMO - VLORA 70ºF - 70ºF
Breakfast. Departing towards the magnificent Butrint National Park. Composed of numerous swampy areas and two lakes, the park is home to a large number of endangered species, as well as a magnificent archaeological site, declared a world heritage site by UNESCO. Located in the heart of lush vegetation, the ancient city has preserved the traces of numerous civilizations that have followed one another (remains of a Roman aqueduct, a Byzantine church, baths, a baptistery, etc.). Then, continue to Vlora. On the way there is a stop at the Porto Palermo Castle - a castle located in the bay of Porto Palermo, a few kilometers south of the city of Himare. The castle was built in the 19th century by Ali Pasha of Tepelena, but apparently it was erected before; It is most likely that it was built by the Venetians, since it was accessible by sea. Rediscovered by the Frenchman Léon Rey between 1923 and 1938, the place is remarkably well preserved: bouleuterion, library, odeon, amphitheater, porticos, temples, agora and its monastery, today an archaeological museum. On the way to Ardenica to visit the perfectly restored monastery, today considered one of the most beautiful Orthodox monuments in Albania. Next, departure to Dürres, panoramic visit of the city founded in 627 BC. Today it is the largest commercial port in the country and a popular seaside resort for Albanians. Visit to the Roman amphitheater (1st century). Road to Tirana. Accommodation.

Breakfast. Discovery of the Albanian capital: Skanderbeg Square; Tanners Bridge; the Et´hem Bey Mosque, one of the city´s rare Ottoman remains; Clock tower. Later, departure to the airport. Return flight and end of services. (**Important to Know: the completion of the panoramic visit will depend on the time of the flight**).
